All Saints and All Souls Days are days dedicated to saints of the Church and those who have died but not yet entered heaven. Please see the schedule of events below for Mass times and other events.
All Saints Day
Masses
All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation. We will have Masses at 8:00 am and 5:15 pm on Tuesday, November 1st. Alpha will take place at 6:30 pm in the Community Center, but there will be no Religious Education.
All Souls Day
Novena
There are currently envelopes in the pews and at the Church entrances for our All Souls Day Novena. Please return envelopes by Friday, October 28th to ensure they will be included in the full novena of Masses.
Mass and Procession
Mass for All Souls Day will be at 8:00 am on Wednesday, November 2nd. Following Mass we will have a procession to the Golden Cemetery lead by Deacon Denny and Father Dennis. Once we arrive at the cemetery, we will place flowers and end with a prayer from The Book of Blessings. Visiting a cemetery on All Souls Day is a tradition practiced by many Catholics.
Eucharistic Adoration and Relics
We will also have Eucharistic Adoration, Praise, and Worship in the Church from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Church. This will be a unique evening of prayer where parishioners will have the opportunity to venerate relics on loan to St. Joseph's for this event. We will also have a short teaching on how to pray with relics.
