As many of you know, St. Joseph's is part of the Golden Family of Churches, a wonderful group of local churches who combine our resources to best serve the needy in our area. One part of the ministry of the Golden Family of Churches is providing meals for families that are sponsored by Family Promise of Greater Denver, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization independently associated with a national organization comprised of more than 200 affiliates in 42 states. Family Promise partners with local congregations to provide shelter, meals, and hospitality to families experiencing homelessness.
St. Joseph's is responsible for providing four meals per year. Our next date that we'll be providing and serving dinner will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Along with providing a dinner item, you are asked to join us in sitting down and visiting with the families. We usually provide a meal for approximately 15 to 20 people and the meals are served between 5:30-6:00 PM at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
