On October 13th, all faithful of the Archdiocese of Denver are invited to join Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila as he, together with Auxiliary Bishop Jorge Rodriguez and all pastors of northern Colorado, consecrate the archdiocese to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the 100th anniversary of the last apparition of Our Lady to three shepherd children of Fatima.

How do we prepare for this?

1. LEARN

2. PRAY

3. IMITATE

Mary wishes to assist us, through her Immaculate Heart, in bringing the world back to God. This is why I am encouraging people to join me in consecrating themselves, their families, parishes, and the archdiocese to her Immaculate Heart.
— Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila

Imitate:

In Mary we find the embodiment of all Christian virtue. Want to be more like Mary? Try picking the virtue(s) that you most admire in her and then find a way to live that virtue each day. You can do this in many simple ways like being patient with a child or spending time listening to a friend. The preparation updates will offer more suggestions of ways to imitate in Our Lady through her virtues.
