The Bishops of Colorado have issued a joint statement on the Equality Act of 2021 (H.R. 5) to the faithful of Colorado. The bill, which has already passed in the House and is under consideration by the Senate, legislates government-mandated beliefs on human sexuality and undermines the guarantee of religious freedom laid out in the First Amendment.
